Canadian industrial product and raw material prices increase in February 2026-Foundry Exhibition-The 26th China(Guangzhou) International Casting Products,foundry Industry Exhibition

According to Statistics Canada, prices of products manufactured in Canada, as measured by the IndustrialProduct Price Index (IPPl, increased 0.4 percent month over month in February and increased 5.4 percent on ayearly basis. Prices of raw materials purchased by manufacturers operating in Canada, as measured by theRaw Materials Price Index (RMPl), increased 0.6 percent from January to February and increased 8.6 percentyear over year in February.
The IPPI was up 0.4 percent month over month in February, following a 2.8 percent increase in the previousmonth.
The IPPI was up 5.4 percent year over year in February 2026, the index''s 17th consecutive month of year-over-year increases.
In February, the RMPl increased 0.6 percent month over month in February, mainly driven by higher prices forcrude energy products (+4.8 percent). Excluding crude energy products, the RMPI decreased 1.1 percent.
The RMPl increased 8.6 percent year on year in February. Excluding crude energy products, the RMPI posteda 20.9 percent year over year rise in February.
