UK issues AD order on tin mill products from China-Foundry Exhibition-The 26th China(Guangzhou) International Casting Products,foundry Industry Exhibition

The UK government has announced that it has accepted the Trade Remedies Authority''s (TRA)recommendation to impose a new antidumping (AD) measure on imports of tin mill products from China,following evidence of dumping that has caused injury to the UK''s tin millindustry. The measure will take effectfrom March 13, 2026.
In its final determination, the TRA recommended an individual duty of 27.85 percent for Shougang Group and49.98 percent for all other Chinese exporters.
The investigation, which covers the period between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024, concluded that Chinesetin mill products were being sold in the UK at prices 28-50 percent lower than domestic market prices, causinginjury to the UK''s tin mill industry.
