It was reported that US President Trump announced that he will call the heads of US Steel, AK Steel and Nucor to propose the latest design solutions for the Mexico-United States barrier.
Trump also said that US steel manufacturers will be required to design a superior quality steel product for building barriers.
In addition, Trump also admitted at a press conference last Friday that the cost for this steel barrier should be increased. in spite of that there is no latest estimate. It is unclear how many steels will be required to build a wall with 30 feet high at least and 2,500 miles long.
Some Americans assumed whether US steel mills will be willing to donate steel for the project or provide a substantial discount to the US government under the conditions that the approved Mexico-United States barrier construction project.
