As end of May 27th, 2017, the United States domestic crude steel production was 1.753 million short tons, the capacity utilization rate was 75.2%. Last year the production was 1.732 million short tons, the capacity utilization rate was 74.1%. US crude steel production increased by 1.2% compared with the same period of last year, and increased by 0.7% compared with previous week.
