China’s apparent steel consumption totaled 250.03 million tons for April of this year, increased by 11.5% compared with the same period of last year.
However, China''s overall economic condition remained steady, with fixed assets investment, industrial production, foreign trade and other major economic indicators.
Market Participants pointed out that China''s crude steel apparent consumption may exceed 750 million tons this year, increased by 5% compared with the same period of last year.
