CISA: Coking coal purchase costs in China down 3.96 percent in Jan-Die Casting Exhibition-Foundry Exhibition-The 26th China(Guangzhou) International Die casting Foundry & Industrial Furnace Exhibition

In the January-February period this year, the weighted-average purchase costs in China of coking coal.metallurgical coke, domestic production iron ore, import iron ore fines and ferrous scrap decreased by 3.96percent, 6.0 percent, 0.02 percent, 0.69 percent and 3.27 percent year on year, respectively, as announced bythe China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
In February this year, the weighted-average purchase cost of coking coal rose by 0.93 percent, while theweighted-average purchase costs of metallurgical coke, Chinese domestic production iron ore fines (dry basis),import iron ore and ferrous scrap decreased by 0.21 percent, 3.34 percent, 1.59 percent and 1.34 percent,month on month, respectively.
