Germany’s crude steel up in January--The 15th China(Guangzhou)Int’l Metal &Metallurgy Exhibition

According to the German Steel Federation (WV Stahl), the country’s crude steel production totaled 3.7 million tons in January, rising by 2.2% year on year and increasing by 5.8% from a month ago.
In 2013, Germany’s production of hot rolled steel products totaled 36.4 million tons, down by 0.3% year on year. Output of flat steel dropped by 0.3% to 23.6 million tons from a year earlier. The country’s long steel production totaled 12.8 million tons, up by 0.3% from a year ago.
