Japan''s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) estimates that in July, Japan''s construction carbon steel demand will reach 1.7 million tons, increasing by 7.5% compared with the same period of last year.
Among them, the H-beam demand will increase by 10.1% to 380,000 tons, but drops by 2.6% compared with previous month; that of small bars demand will increase by 9.3% to 680,000 tons, down by 2.9% compared with previous month.
