It’s reported the US Department of Commerce set preliminary duties on imports of carbon and alloy steel wire rod from China.
The duties were set at 110.25% and some companies will have lower duty rate at 106.19%.
In 2013, the imports of hot rolled carbon steel and alloy steel rod from China totaled USD 313 million. The final decision will be finalized by November 12th 2014.
