US determines dumping of certain plated steel sheets imported from South Korea-- The 20th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Plate metal, Bar, wire, Metal Processing &Setting Equipment Exhibition

In May 2016, The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) imposed an anti-dumping duty of 8.75%, 47.8% and 28.8% on plated steel sheets imported from Dongkuk Steel, Hyundai Steel, and other South Korean steelmakers, respectively.
According the final result of recent annual review, the USDOC has determined Hyundai Steel Company did not sell any corrosion-resistant steel products at unfair prices to the US market during the period under review. The review period began on January 4th, 2016 and ended on June 30th, 2017.
However, the USDOC has found the dumping facts on these products imported by Dongkuk Steel and POSCO, and determined to impose a dumping duty of 7.33% on the companies
