Korean stainless steel hot-rolled coil imports reach new high in two years-- The 18th China(Guangzhou) Int’l Plate metal, Bar, Wire, Metal Processing &Setting Equipment Exhibition

According to Korea Iron and Steel Association data showed that in August this year, Korea’s stainless steel hot-rolled coil imports reached 52,973 tons, an increase of 13.3% year on year, an increase of 13.3% month on month, was new high within two years.
Among them, Korea’s stainless steel hot-rolled coil imports totaled 34,471 tons from China, accounted for more than half of the total imports, increased by 24.9%, compared with the same period last year, an increase of 15.5%, compared to the same period last month.
