MetalTack fasteners were specifically developed to fasten light weight parts such as nameplates and wiring clips to heavier metal products such as pumps, valves and machinery. They fasten quickly and permanently with NO DRILLING or surface preparation. Permanently embedded fasteners hold up to 250 pounds. MetalTacks are perfect for fastening nameplates, barcode tags, wiring clips or any other light weight attachment. A portable, safe, single-impact Air Tool allows the operator to position the attachment before fastening. This eliminates the problem of having to precisely locate holes in the base material and then precisely align those holes with the ones in the attachment.

Adhesives are messy and may be less than permanent. Other fasteners that require drilled holes also require perfect alignment between base metal and attachment. In addition, drilling holes may cause damage by drilling too deep, and metal drill chips are difficult to completely clean up.
