US to impose CVD duty on steel threaded rod imports from China & India-The 21st China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

According to the report, the United States Department of Commerce (USDOC) has initially conducted an anti-dumping investigation on imported carbon and alloy steel threaded rods from China, India, Taiwan and Thailand.
Recently, the USDOC announced the preliminary determination to confirm Chinese and Indian carbon and alloy steel threaded rods had the countervailing facts, and the countervailing duties on the two countries would up to 155.03%.
The USDOC decided to impose a countervailing rate of 23.41%, 24.89% and 23.83% on Ningbo Zhongjiang High Strength Bolts Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Junyue Standard Part Co., Ltd., and other steel threaded rod producers and importers, respectively.
In addition, the initial tax rate for Indian Daksh Fasteners was 155.03%, while the initial countervailing rate for Mangal Steel Enterprises Limited and other Indian exporters was 6.07%.
