Indian Tata Steel plans to build steel park in Odisha-The 20th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

According to the report, Indian Tata Steel had a plan of building a steel park in Odisha. This downstream park would take about 400 acres and nearby its Kalinganagar steel plant in Jajpur district.
Tata Steel ran manufacturing operations among 26 countries and was one of the biggest steel producing industries in the world with crude steel capacity 27.5 million tons yearly.
Tata showed its interest and applied to its government for the new project from production of 3 million tons expanding to 8 million tons yearly. It was expected this industrial park would stimulate the downstream units in Kalinganagar.
Odisha produced over 70% of Indian minerals but it brought less contributions to the country.
