Taiwan’s screw & bolt export volume falls, price rises in Oct-The 19th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

Screws and bolts were the main export screw products (including steel nails) for Taiwan, accounting for around 54% of the total exports.
According to the statistics, the export volume of screw and bolt was 66,525 tons in October, down by 1.56% year on year. The export value was US$178 million, up by 10.4% from the same period of last year. The average export price was US$2.686/kg, up by 12.16% from the same period a year ago.
In the first ten months of this year, the export volume of screw and bolt totaled 704,544 tons, increasing by 3.73% compared with the same period of the previous year. The average export price was US$2.547/kg, rising by 9.24% compared to the same period a year earlier.
