ISSF: Global crude stainless steel production rises in 2018 - The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

According to the latest statistics released by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), the production of crude stainless steel in the world had a total volume of 39 million tons roughly in 2018, which indicated an increase of 10% compared with the same period of the previous year.
During the period from July to September, the production amounted to 13.2 million tons roughly, showing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 0.3% and a year-on-year hike of 3.7%.
Among them, the production from European countries reduced, and that from China, the US, Indonesia and other countries had an upward trend in this period.
