Turkey’s crude steel production up by 6.9% y-o-y in October-The 15th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Tube&Pipe Exhibition

According to data released
by the Turkish Steel Producers’ Association (TCUD), the country’s crude steel
output totaled 3.08 million tons in October, rising by 6.9% year on year and
hitting the highest monthly level in 2013.
In the January-October period,
the country’s crude steel output amounted to 28.9 million tons, down by 3.8%
year on year.
In the given period of time, the country’s finished steel
output rose by 4.8% while its consumption of finished steel products increased
by 8.6%.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s steel long products output totaled 19.67
million tons in the January-October period, rising by 3.7% year on
year.
