It is reported that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has launched anti-dumping investigation on imports of carbon and alloy steel wire rod from Belarus, Italy, South Korea, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, the UAE and Britain.
The application was submitted by Gerdau Ameristeel US Inc. who is a major manufacturer of such hot-rolled intermediate steel products.
The import values of certain carbon and alloy steel wire rod imports from above countries in 2016, which were between US%7-55 million, according to source said.
