Japanese stainless steel scrap imports increase in October-The 17th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to Japan''s Ministry of finance statistics showed in October of this year, Japan imported 7251 tons of stainless steel scrap, an increase of 4.6% month on month.
During the first ten months of this year, Japan total imported 73,937 tons of stainless steel scrap, the average monthly import prices were ￥137770/ton, down by 10.5% month on month.
In October Japan’s stainless steel scrap imports countries included Korea was 4428 tons, an increase of 6.2% month on month; United States was 801 tons, down by 31.5% month on month; Taiwan was 790 tons, down by 30.3% month on month.
