Russian imports of stainless steel products in November last year decreased by 19.8 percent month on month to 19,562 mt, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association.
In January-November 2014, Russian imports of stainless steel products rose by 1.6 percent year-on-year to 238,738 mt. In particular, in the given period, imports of stainless flat steel products rose by 6.7 percent, imports of long stainless steel products increased by 12.5 percent, stainless wire imports moved up by 21.8 percent and pipe fittings imports rose by 8.9 percent, all year-on-year basis.
