Finland-based stainless producer Outokumpu released its third-quarter operating report recently.
During July to September, the company’s stainless steel shipments totaled 644,000 tons, increasing by 1.4% from 635,000 tons in the same period of a year ago.
At the same time, Outokumpu’s ferrochrome sales totaled 23,000 tons, slumping by 59.6% year on year.
During the first nine months, the company’s shipments reached 1.99 million tons, plunging by 59.6% year on year.
