ISSF: Global stainless steel output rises in 2013--The 15th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to report of the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), the global stainless steel output totaled 38.1 million tons in 2013, rising by 7.8% year on year.
The stainless steel output in Asian region excluding China totaled 8.8 million tons, increasing by 0.8% year on year. China’s crude stainless steel output increased significantly by 18% year on year to 19 million tons in 2013.
The stainless steel output in Western Europe and Africa decreased by 4.3% to 7.5 million tons from a year ago.
American stainless steel production increased by 3.6% to 2.5 million tons.
