Japan’s imports of stainless steel products surge in October--The 15th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to statistics, Japan’s imports of stainless steel products totaled 18,052 tons in October, soaring by 32.4% year on year.
Meanwhile, the country’s import prices of stainless steel products averaged at US$2,975.09/ton, down by 4.6% year on year.
In October, the imports of stainless steel products from Korea rose by 41%; those from Taiwan increased by 16.6% and those from China were up by 18%, all compared to the figures i the same month of 2012.
