High nickel price to sustain stainless steel price in short term-The 19th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

In the last two days, the nickel prices maintained a high price level over US$14,000/ton. As of May 14th, the highest price of nickel arrived at US$14,520/ton, while the lowest price also reached at US$14,030/ton.
In the middle of April, after nickel price opening quotation was in a high level, the nickel price made an increase of 2.6% and reached US$14,420/ton this Monday (May 14th).
The high nickel price was mainly because of season factors and the continuous electric car demands. Due to high nickel price level, stainless steel prices were also been sustained in a short term.
