According to statistics released by the US Census Bureau, the US’s imports of stainless steel products totaled 79,455 tons in October, soaring by 29.8% from a month ago.
In October, the US’s imports of cold rolled (CR) stainless steel sheets totaled 22,466 tons, jumping by 45.9% from September.
China exported 7,182 tons of CR stainless steel sheets to the US, jumping by 51.1%; Mexico exported 5,967 tons, soaring by 84.5%, both compared to the figures in a month ago.
