Japan’s stainless steel scrap exports drop significantly in Aug-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to Japan''s Ministry of Finance data, in August of this year Japan stainless steel scrap exports totaled 9807 tons, substantially reduced 40.7% month on month. Although India''s exports rose, but Korea and Thailand''s exports declined significantly, which led to the total exports volume decreased further.
Among them, Japan exported 5851 tons of stainless steel scarp to Japan, reduced 42.7% month on month; exported 3032 tons to Taiwan, reduced 23.8% month on month; exported 447 tons to Thailand, reduced 75.7% month on month; exported 295 tons to India, increased of 2.2 times.
