Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry data released in May this year, Japan’s stainless steel products (hot-rolled products) the production capacity was 231,127 tons, an increase of 10.9% month on month, an increase of 4.9% year on year.
Among the, Japan’s chromium series stainless steel production was 110,125 tons (included 92,614 tons of chromium and 17,511 tons of chromium molybdenum), an increase of 12% month on month; nickel series stainless steel production was 121,002 tons (included chrome-manganese of 946 tons and 93,580 tons of nickel and chromium).
