Eriez® has unveiled its new Rare Earth Roll Conveyor. The unit allows users to recover and concentrate stainless steel from one of two material streams: Zurik conductive fraction from a fines -1-in. sensor sorting machine or waste fraction (drops) from a fines -1-in. eddy current separator.
Featuring a magnetic field strength of more than 20,000 gauss on the roll surface, the permanent magnet keeps stainless steel out of the stream to prevent damage to blades on wire choppers.
